Indian Summer

Mary Clare has been enjoying playing with her friend's sword (left behind at our Halloween party). We finally remembered to return it this week, and she has instead turned her attention to her tunnel.





You can see here that Lou (our cat) has taken up residence in the tunnel and Mary Clare and Daddy enjoyed coaxing him to walk through the tunnel.

Eventually he just lay down in the middle and went to sleep.











This afternoon we enjoyed the record-breaking temperatures - 83 degrees! It was gorgeous -- we met up with Mary Clare's friend Fletcher at Pinkerton Park. Fletcher was a real gentleman and shared his animal crackers with Mary Clare. You can see she was delighted!











Here are the two friends playing with some musical bells on the playground. Mary Clare's walking has really progressed -- it was a totally different experience taking her to the park now that she can walk! It was more fun for her (and me), but also more work!
