Yesterday we took Mary Clare for her first haircut. Despite our expectations, it turned out to be a non-event for her. She completely took it in stride and sat in the little car/seat contraption and watched a Sponge Bob video the whole time. 
Tonight we went to the evening service at Church. It was beautiful, but very crowded so Mary Clare and Mommy spent a good portion of the time in the nursery. Here is a photo of us dressed for church.
When we returned home we let Mary Clare open just one gift and she loved it. It has plastic balls that you drop into a shoot and they roll down. Actually, the part she liked the best was throwing the balls for Lou (the cat to chase).
