We have been having so much fun enjoying an unseasonably warm early Winter that I have been neglecting our Blog. We had a great Thanksgiving -- it was the first time in a long while that we stayed home and I thought I would be really lonely. However, with two little girls and Roger to keep me company we had a fun time. It was so nice that we went to the park every day of the four-day weekend. Mary Clare had so much fun on the slides and Erin is big enough to sit in the baby swings. Mary Clare loved to have her sister swing next to her -- she would say, "Me high as trees! Baby high as flowers." -- to show how much higher she was swinging than Erin! For Thanksgiving we had a salad with candied pecans, Maytag blue cheese, and pears -- for the main course we enjoyed some yummy Dover sole, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, mashed turnips, potato casserole, and apple streusel pie with ice cream for dessert. Mary Clare had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!!

Yesterday my mom arrived for a visit. It was so nice that we went to the Zoo -- here is Mary Clare looking at the elephants.
And here she is with Grandma looking at the giraffes.

And here is her monkey face!
