First Day(s) of School

This past week was a busy one for the Jones family -- Mary Clare and Erin both had the first days of school. On Tuesday, Mary Clare started her four-day a week Pre-K program. I am really going to miss her during the week! However, she is already flourishing -- her self-confidence is at an all-time high. Today she told Roger that she was "like 5" -- we interpreted that to mean that she was feeling 5 years old already!
Here she is with some of her classmates and friends on the first day!
On Wednesday, Erin had her first day of "mother's day out". She will attend 2 days each week - and she's at the same school as Mary Clare. In fact, she has the same teachers and same classroom that Mary Clare did - which is making things go smoothly so far. In fact, on her first day, she did refuse to pose for pictures because she was so excited to head to school. This was all she would do for us!

Mary Clare also started ballet again this week. She is also very excited to be back in her dance class! She has graduated to the dark green leotard. Here she is doing a "piquet" for us!
Tomorrow will be my first morning with both girls at school -- I have a long list of errands, but I know I will be missing them the whole time - how crazy is that!? I spent all summer thinking that I couldn't wait for my two mornings of "freedom" each week, and now I'm sad about it!
