Sixth Annual Halloween Party

On Saturday we held our sixth (!) annual Halloween party for the families from our playgroup. These are children that our girls have known since they were infants. It was amazing to see how much all the kids have grown up! The weather was perfect - warm and sunny and we had lots of fun!

The wax vampire teeth are always a big hit!

This year, we put a blue lightbulb down in the well and a fog machine - it doesn't show up well in the picture, but it looked like a witch's caldron!

Last year, the dads pretended to be a wolf with the mask - but this year the kids took over!

After dinner most of the families headed down the street to see our neighbor's haunted house. While they were gone, Roger and I set up a popcorn machine that we rented and our new outdoor movie projector for a screening of Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. Fun stuff! After the girls finally got into bed that night, they slept for 12 hours straight!
