Father-Daughter Dance

Last night was the Second Annual Father-Daughter Ball in Franklin. Last year both girls went and had fun, but Mary Clare decided this year she was a little too old (at the ripe old age of 6!). Erin is never one to miss out on a party - much less one that offers pizza, cake and one-on-one time with Daddy -- so she was of course raring to go! Here they are getting introduced -- thanks to my friend Jennifer for this pic!

And here is Roger with his two girls before they left for the Ball! After they left, Mary Clare and I had a lot of fun decorating and getting ready for Erin's birthday party today -- more in the next post about that!

At school this year, Erin filled out a questionnaire about Roger -- here is what she said:

"My Dad
is 10 feet tall.
He weighs 20 pounds.
He has brown heyes
and black hair.
He likes to eat salmon.
My dad's favorite thing to do
is take rides in his convertible.
I love my dad because he hugs me
and gives me stuffed animals!"

This is what Mary Clare wrote in a card to Roger -
"Dear dad,
I love you sooooo much! You are kind, loving and handsome. You make me smile! Love, Mary Clare."

And on another note -- Mary Clare participated in "Readers Theatre Camp" at BGA this week. Here are a few pictures of her having fun.
