July 4th in New Jersey

On July 4th the girls and I drove down to New Jersey to see my sister Cara's family, their new house, and help them do a little moving.  That night we went to a Trenton Thunder (minor league baseball) game.  It was really fun and felt like the perfect way to celebrate America's birthday!  Especially in Trenton which was the site of Washington's crossing during the Revolution - it was a great tie-in to our trip to Virginia the previous week.

The kids had fun talking to the mascot!

Patriotic icee tongues!

The next day we went to see their new house.  It is gorgeous and has an amazing back yard - complete with a tree house!  Here are the kids playing at dusk one night - apologies for the terrible iPhone pictures.

Here are Erin and Katie carrying a giant stuffed caterpillar into the house.

And the whole gang in front of their new home!
