On Saturday evening we had our eighth (!) Halloween party with the playgroup that we joined when Mary Clare was just a few months old. Some of these families we only see a few times a year, but we just pick right up where we left off. Its so much fun to see all the kids and how they are all growing! This year we tranformed half of the garage into a "Witches' Lair" - its supposed to look like her house - while she is out. We had a cauldron with dry ice foaming, a talking spell book, and the girls and I made lots of little jars with labels - "Toad Bladders", etc.
