Kanga Roux Jack

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before or not, but last fall when Erin started taking riding lessons regularly, I decided to get back into it.  It has been YEARS, actually DECADES, since I have ridden or been around horses regularly.  Not since law school have I ridden alot and not since college have I regularly competed.  I had to start back at square one.  But it has been great!!  After about six months of lessons at the same barn where Erin rides, I stumbled into a perfect situation.  I am half-leasing (3-4 days/week) a 10 year old Holsteiner gelding named Roux.  He is boarded at a beautiful facility called Southern Promise Farm -- we have 600 acres to roam on trail rides and a beautiful ring for lessons and schooling.  It has been heavenly.

The view from Roux's back on a trail ride -- you can just see a castle in the distance - really!
