Riding Brandy and more fun at the barn

Yesterday a friend asked me to ride her horse Brandy to help get her fit (insert big smiley face) and another friend got some great pictures of us - the second two good ones - not the goofy one I took of Brandy enjoying a peppermint!

 

The girls had a half day at school today due to Field Day so we went to an arcade with friends for pizza and games.  Here is Erin on the bumper cars.

Afterwards we went to the barn so Erin could ride Shamrock, a little pony we are thinking of leasing for the summer. She had a great time and Mary Clare was a big help to me!  A big wet cold front is coming tomorrow so she helped me put blankets on four horses while Erin rode.  Roger drove out and surprised us, too!!  And we found a snapping turtle!  Dinner at Garcia's capped off a pretty amazing day.
