Mary Clare's favorite new game is saying "Aaaaahhhhhh . . . boom!" As she throws herself onto any soft (and sometimes not so soft) surface -- such as the dog bed, our bed, the couch cushions, or the mats at her My Gym Class. Here she is playing this afternoon in the basement.
We are looking forward to Easter this year. I ordered Mary Clare her own Easter basket, but you can see Lou, our cat, has taken a shine to it.

The weather here has been miserable -- cold and rainy so we have been spending alot of time inside. Last week we made brownies to pass the time. You can see Mary Clare really enjoyed licking the spoons for me!
This past weekend we took Mary Clare to her My Gym class in the morning and later to a children's program of Little Red Riding Hood that was performed by the Nashville Opera at our local library. Mary Clare really enjoyed it and seemed to follow the story.
The progress continues, albeit slowly, on the bathroom renovation. We are still camping out in the downstairs, but it looks like the work will be done by May 1 (our deadline). The baby is due in 3 months, so that would give us about 6 weeks to really get settled and ready for our new arrival!
