Holes in My Socks!

This morning Mary Clare had her My Gym Class. In these classes the kids go barefoot and the parents wear socks. Well, I guess I hadn't noticed but I had a small hole in one of my socks. She was sitting in my lap while we were singing and doing stretching when she leaned all the way forward and grabbed by foot in her hands. She pointed wildly and made sure everyone knew that I had a hole in my sock. Then, she stood up, leaned over and inspected the OTHER sock - just to make sure that sock was okay. This was all especially embarassing because she did the same thing yesterday in Kindermusik -- I definitely need some new socks!!

Here is our little artist playing with her Play Doh -- I don't know if you can tell from the photo but she is using the miniature rolling pin to flatten the clay. She can even use the garlic press-type of thing to make string!

As for the construction - things are moving along. Here are some photos -- the second one is the view of our *ceiling*! When you walk in the back door and look up, this is what currently greets you. Thankfully the team of drywallers are here today and hopefully (fingers crossed!), by the end of the week we will have walls and ceilings again! I have to say, I am definitely getting ready for this to be done.
