Yesterday was Easter and we enjoyed a really gorgeous spring day here -- it was warm with a nice breeze and in the afternoon the skies were crystal blue. Our friend Oksana and her mother made us traditional Russian Easter bread. Also, Mary Clare got lots of Easter gifts from friends and family -- you can see her overflowing basket!One gift from our next-door neighbor included a pair of blue rabbit slippers which she insisted on wearing during breakfast - although here she doesn't look so happy about it.
Here she is in her Easter dress with her basket at church. She sat in Roger's lap for the entire service and was an angel! Afterwards she participated in the Easter Egg Hunt at church.
