Acorns!

It's that time of year again -- our old oak tree (isn't that a song?) is dropping its enormous acorns!! You can't believe the size of these things - or the quantities of them -- they are everywhere. They are truly freaks of nature they are so big!
Braving the acorns, Mary Clare had some friends over to play after school. Here are a few of the girls dressed like princesses (Mary Clare is Snow White) kissing Erin in an attempt to wake up the Sleeping Beauty.
this is just a random photo of our den. We have almost finished all the details post-renovation. We added a new light fixture to this room - and after months of driving Roger crazy (does this look straight? is this at the right height?) all my old photos are hung up!!
Here are the girls in their pjs watching a football game with Roger. They dragged their chairs up on the couch to make beachers -- touch down!
