Its been too long since my last post. We have been doing great- just busy! Mary Clare and Erin are really working hard at school. Our afternoons are full of homework, school projects and fun stuff. We bought a piano and the girls are enjoying playing it. Today was Valentine's Day and I had alot of fun thinking of things to make and games for their class parties.
Yesterday when the girls got home from school I surprised them with these heart-shaped brownies -- don't tell them but they are actually good for them! There's a whole can of pureed black beans in them - you can't even taste the beans and they are so moist!
Here is Erin enjoying her brownie!
Last night - after they were in bed - I set the table with little pink tea cups and some treats.
Here is there lunch today!
Today was their parties at school - I cut out lips and mustaches and put them on straws. They were really cute!
Another mom and I were in charge of games for Mary Clare's class - here are the kids trying to pick up candy hearts with chop sticks - funny! and fun.
I made a "Pin the Lips on the Principal" game for the class - it was a hit! And here is the actual principal with the whole class.
I made mustaches and lips for the kids to pin on the poster.
After I finished helping in Mary Clare's room I ran down the hall to Erin's class. Her class was enjoying the lips, too!
I guess tomorrow I will take down the Valentine's Day art - I will miss it- it is all so sweet.
This says, "I love my mom more than cupcakes and pizza."
"I love my Dad more than cupcakes."
Here are the stickers I made for the water bottles for the class. What a fun day, but I am tired!!
