We had a nice time yesterday celebrating the 4th -- both girls slept until 8 am (yippee!) and in the afternoon we went to the "Franklin on the Fourth" celebration downtown. 
Mary Clare participated in the Children's Parade with her flag and streamer decorated tricycle. We met up with her best gal pal Chloe and their daddy's pushed/pulled them through the parade route. Afterwards we cooled off with some ice cream at Ben & Jerry's.
