After her nap, Mary Clare decided today was a perfect day to wear her lady bug boots. We had some workmen at the house today exposing our covered brackets on the outside of the house so we had to stick around this afternoon. While Erin napped Mary Clare and I picked some tomatoes from our woefully overgrown and neglected plants. I have no idea why, but when I pulled out my camera to snap a photo of her picking the cherry tomatoes, Mary Clare broke out into a dance! (You can see she really needs a haircut.)
Here she is later in the evening playing in her playroom. Her 2nd birthday gift from Roger and I was this play kitchen. She loves it and it constantly cooking up the special of the day (usually "cookies and cheese").
