Glad you made it to our new website! Well, I guess I was rewarded for the jinx of the other night -- this morning, Erin slept until almost 8 am, and Mary Clare until 9 am! What a treat! I had time to nurse Erin and change her, make coffee and read the front page of the NY Times and the local paper before Mary Clare started to stir. It was nice to have some one-on-one time with Erin -sometimes it feels like I hardly have a moment to focus on her. So I thought I'd update you on her a bit -- she is a major chunky monkey -- she's already in 3-6 month clothes. Her 2 month appt is on Friday (actually a week late due to doctors' vacations) and I'm curious to see what she weighs. Her cough is completely gone, and we heard on Friday the news we suspected -- her cough was not Whooping Cough! She is also feeling better on the reflux front -- she hasn't vomited in long enough that I can't remember (probably 5-6 days at least). She's back to sleeping in her bouncy seat. I think it's responsible for the 9 am wakeup this morning, so I'm leaving her where she's happy! She's also getting onto more of a schedule -- she wakes up, is up for about 2 hours and then gets fussy and I know its nap time. She takes a morning nap of about 1 hour and then wakes up at lunch time. Later she naps around 2 pm for up to 2 hours and then is up for a few hours until she goes down for good around 8 pm. In between she naps alot in her car seat (the unwilling sidekick to Mary Clare's life). That might not sound like a schedule, but it's a miracle compared to what it used to be and I'll take it!
