This weekend Roger's family came for a visit -- Mary Clare and Erin are obsessed with their cousin Amy so it was great for them to see her. Here's a picture of Erin with Amy. Erin is holding a puppy that Amy brought for her birthday -- Erin immediately fell in love with it and called it her "new puppy" all weekend. Somehow I didn't get any pictures of Barbara and Tim but the girls just loved spending time with them, too - and their dog Sparky!
Here's a cute picture of the girls playing dress-up in the playroom. Mary Clare loves to dress Erin in hats and she happily obliges.
Yesterday evening I was doing the dishes and Roger was on the porch with the girls. Mary Clare came running into the house to tell me there was a HUGE butterfly on the porch. Well, she was right! The photo doesn't do it justice, but this butterfly had about a 6-7 inch wingspan. I looked it up on the internet - it's called a Giant Swallowtail. It was really amazing - it looked like a bird!
