Okay, I know these blogs won't be in chronological order, but I'm just getting caught up! I celebrated a big birthday this week - 39! Yikes! One more year and this is the big leagues!! The girls made me a cake - so cute! Mercifully they only used 2 candles . . . 
Just before we left for our Outerbanks vacation my sister sent the girls a butterfly house to raise butterflies from caterpillars. Well, they made their cocoons right before we left - and we got home just in the nick of time. The morning after we returned home I checked on them and one of them had already hatched (is that the right term?) -- you can see it's wings are still furled. It was very cool to watch them crawl out and fly away!
