The second grade raised butterflies from eggs, to caterpillars - into their chrysalises, and then watched the hatch. They made special invitations asking the parents to come to a "butterfly release party". Here they are coming out to the playground wearing headbands that they had made for the occasion. Mary Clare's teacher Ms. Angie was in the lead.
