We are running about two weeks ahead of schedule in the garden -- which so far, has been fine by me. I had lots of pretty things to chose from to make little posies for the teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day. The girls went out to the garden early in the morning and collected blossoms - we put them in canning jars and loaded up my old soda crate to carry the to school. The night before the girls had written each teacher a special note. We feel so lucky to have the girls in a school with such sweet and caring teachers and staff - it feels like a family and they have thrived there.
Here are some more pictures to see how the garden is coming along with all the early heat we have been having.
| I haven't had good luck with fox gloves in the past, so I was so pleased when this one volunteered right along the path! |
| This "Love in a Mist" or Nigella has done really well this year. |
