Grandparents Day

In late April, my mom came to visit and to see the girls perform in their Grandparents Day program at BGA.

Here they are posing with Grandma before we left for the show.

I set up a table outside the auditorium to solicit donations for the Garden Club at the girls' school.  My mom took the camera and got lots of pictures.

We were trying to sell the black container and the plants - several of them actually - to put outside the school.  The clay pots were decorated by the kindergarteners and donated to us - they are on the front porch of the school and look adorable.

The poster I made to show what we need for the garden.

Last year some of the kids wrote notes thanking me for my work on the garden - they were so cute.

Me with mom -- I am sporting my official "BGA Gardener" apron.

This shows the auditorium full of proud grandparents!

The kindergarten - Erin is in the front row in pink.

Second grade - Mary Clare is in the front in light green.

The girls decorated the black board with a special announcement!  "Decades" was the name of the show they put on.

A picture my mom took of me with the girls.

Mary Clare loves to use my camera -- these are a whole series that she took of the garden and around the house.  She's pretty good for only being 7!

A great picture Mary Clare took of Grandma!

And another one in front of the rhododendrons.
