Today was Mary Clare's first day of pre-school -- really just a Parents' Day Out program. Here she is leaving in the morning with Daddy and Erin. She did great! As expected, there were a few tears, but all-in-all it was better than we expected. And Mommy hardly cried at all! Mary Clare's teachers said that she got a little weepy after we left but she kept Yellow (her blankie) nearby, and that helped alot. They said she had fun playing on the slide and was sitting at the table eating goldfish crackers when I picked her up. She seemed very happy to see me, but also very excited to tell me all about her morning. She will go to school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 1 pm and then home for what I hope will be a long nap. That should give me two days each week where I really only have one little one to wrangle. Plus it will be nice to have some one-on-one time with Erin.
