7 months and counting

Well, let's see -- it's been more than a week since I last posted. What's been going on . . .Erin turned 7 months old. She is sitting up by herself now (although topples pretty easily). She also has been saying, "Mama"! (Well, actually, "mamamamamamamama" -- but I'll take it!) And yesterday, Mary Clare taught her to clap! It's so adorable -- Mary Clare will clap, and I'll say, "Clap, baby, clap!" and she does! Unfortunately, her reflux seems to be flaring up -- I'm not sure if it's teething (she still has no teeth!), or if it's that she's outgrowing her Prevacid dosage, or if it's food allergies - -but after some discussions with her pediatricians I am currently keeping a food diary for her and myself (to see how what she eats effects her). Next Friday we'll go to the doctor to review the diary and determine whether we need to visit an allergist. In a few weeks we also have an appointment with a pediatric gastroenterologist at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. All in all, she's doing great, though -- when she is feeling well she loves to lay on the floor and roll back and forth and play with her toys. Here she is sharing her blanket with Dylan.
Here is Mary Clare imitating her on Dylan's dog bed!

Erin has outgrown her portable carseat -- her new big girl carseat arrived yesterday. Mary Clare has had fun sitting in it and playing with the giant box.
Here is a funny picture of Mary Clare wearing my running sneakers!
