This past weekend Papa Joe (Tina's dad) came for a visit. Mary Clare and Erin both really enjoyed the extra attention. Here he is with Mary Clare on Saturday morning -- first she showed him how she could turn on music for her -- and next she is having fun running into his arms.
Later in the day we headed to downtown Franklin for lunch. Mary Clare had fun pretending to hopscotch with Papa Joe at a local monument.

On our way home from lunch we stopped at the local toy store. Papa Joe treated Mary Clare to a new doll -- she wanted me to take this picture of "Girl" - as she is now called. Erin got a cute Teddy Bear that she loves, too. Today before their naps we were playing with the bear in Mary Clare's room and I forgot to bring it into Erin's room. When Mary Clare woke from her nap several hours later, the first thing I heard her say on the monitor was, "Mommy, Erin forgot her bear!"
