Erin's development is taking off -- yesterday she managed to get her new sippy cup of water to her mouth and drink it. And this afternoon she rolled over from her back to her stomach. So she is just zooming along.This afternoon we were invited to a party at our friends' house. Unfortunately, Roger is in Vail and missed it, but I had a great time. Here is a picture of Mary Clare soon after we arrived -- she is wearing one of the party favors (reindeer antlers).
She was pretty unsure about the whole Santa thing. On the way there she told me in the car that she didn't want to sit in Santa's lap so I wasn't too surprised when she wouldn't get very close.
If you look closely you can see her sitting on the couch (far away from Santa).
Later, after being bribed with a candy cane, she warmed up to him and gave him a good-bye hug!Erin, on the other hand, was only too happy to sit in Santa's lap!
