Well, she certainly let the anticipation build, but Mary Clare is finally walking on her own. She started taking 2 steps alone last week but on Friday really started to put it all together. This morning she was taking about 20 steps alone. Of course, I haven't caught it on film, but I'll try to post a photo soon. We spent this morning running errands to get ready for our Halloween party next week. I hope the beautiful weather holds up -- or else we're going to have a dozen toddlers running around our house!!
It's starting to look like our house again (except for the bobcat in the front yard). Yesterday the frontwalk and stairs were torn out and we hope will be repoured this week -- especially because we are expecting 2,000 trick-or-treaters (seriously). It's hard to do that with no front steps!
