Zoo Days

We have been enjoying the unusually warm fall weather in Tennessee this year. Mary Clare and I have been taking long walks around the neighborhood and playing in the yard every day. This week we attended to Mary Clare's busy social schedule (Monday - My Gym, Tuesday - Kindermusik, Wednesday - the Library and errands).

Today we met up with her play group for a trip to the Nashville Zoo.
Here is Mary Clare with her friend Kate. They were looking out at the zebras and ostriches.

The porch repairs are going quickly now. The roof is on (but the color isn't a good match, so stay tuned about that), the ceiling is back up, and the trim is almost done. Tomorrow they will tear out the stairs and walkway in anticipation of pouring new ones next week. I'll try and post a photo tomorrow.
