We have had a fun weekend. On Saturday morning, our friend Annie came for a visit. Mary Clare was so excited and ran around the house showing her her "big girl bed", Erin's closet, and all the other essential parts of her life. Later in the day we went to downtown Franklin's Main Street Festival. It was beautiful and sunny. We coincidentally bumped into Mary Clare's good friends Chloe and John (and their parents) which she thoroughly enjoyed. On our way home, we stopped for a quick face painting. Erin loved it as you can see!

Mary Clare wanted to be a cat again -- here she is posing with the clown who painted her.

Last night we were sitting on our back deck enjoying dinner when all of a sudden we heard a loud "whoosh!". And about 4 hot air balloons started to rise right behind our house -- it was amazing. These pictures don't do it justice -- they were right above the house. You can see from the girls' reactions how close they were.

Erin actually got quite scared and spent the rest of dinner looking over her shoulder to make sure there were no more coming. Mary Clare thought they were loud but "so cool!"

This morning Mary Clare and Roger danced on our front walk while Dylan looked on.
