Today was Roger's birthday and Mary Clare & Erin really, really enjoyed our celebration. Here is Mary Clare holding a card that she made. And this morning while Erin napped, she helped me make a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. She knew I was going to the store while she napped and she gave me strict instructions to get balloons - one yellow, one red, one green, one purple, one blue, and one white. Here she is blowing out the candles with Roger. You can see Lou (the cat) getting in on it, too.
And Erin was SO cute -- she saw everyone blowing the candles out, and she started to do it -- and when she saw our reaction, she kept it up! Every time she would blow raspberries we would cheer and then she would clap. Here is Mary Clare sampling her cake!
