The big girls had their faces painted like cats. They were so cute! Angie took them to the kids area to get it done, and they came running across the park to the moms meowing and pretending to be cats. You can see Erin couldn't figure out what had happened to her big sister's face!
We had a fun picnic lunch at the park and then dropped Angie off at home before naps. Mary Clare wanted to show Mimo her face so we stopped in next door when we got home. I don't know that I've mentioned this before, but Mimo's husband is General Moore - a retired 4 star general from the Air Force. He's a true American hero and a really nice man. I was so tickled that he answered the door this afternoon and as soon as he saw Mary Clare he called to Mimo -- "Marge, come see this little cat at the door." Mary Clare was delighted, too.
After naps, we played outside. It was a beautiful evening so I laid a blanket in the front yard for Erin while Mary Clare played with the hose. I asked her to lay down next to Erin so I could take their picture and she looked like she thought Erin would bite her!
