Mary Clare must have been watching the Oscars the other night. This morning, while Erin napped, she and I enjoyed the beautiful weather outside today. She saw my camera and told me to "make a movie." (My digital camera can also take short videos - which I can't post here unfortunately.) I spent the next half hour shooting little movies of her pretending to fall down, jumping, skipping, going down her slide, swinging, running up and down the driveway, pushing her train, etc. I kept saying, "Action!" and she would run around - and then turn and say, "Let me see my movie!"
After Erin's nap we all headed off to Kindermusik - Mary Clare's music class. She had a great time dancing with her friend John - and since the weather was so nice we had them over for an impromptu lunch outside. After we all ate, I brought a blanket out for Erin to sit on. The older kids decided to join her "picnic." Here's a photo of them all sitting outside enjoying our nearly 70 degree weather!!
Closet! Closet! The only news around here lately is that last week we finally had our ClosetMaid closets installed in the new walk-in closets that we created when we renovated the upstairs and bathroom last spring. Mary Clare has been having so much fun in the closets - who knew a closet could be so much fun! She runs around inside her closet screaming "Closet, Closet, Closet" - until she collapses on the flooor. And then she looks up and says, "Baby's Closet!!" and goes running into Erin's room.
Erin's closet is chock-full of all of Mary Clare's outgrown clothes so it is pretty well stocked up! Although the closets turned out to be so big that they both have tons of drawers and shelves that are still empty -so we have plenty of room to grow.
Here's a cute photo of Erin who is getting ready to start crawling - I'm guessing she'll be cruising around sometime in the next month!
