Mary Clare's latest cooking experiences have made a real impression on her. This morning, while Erin napped and Roger rested from his cold, she and I went to the grocery store. As we went up the baking aisle, Mary Clare pointed to a chocolate cake mix and said that she wanted to make one. So, after her nap I let her help me -- she really enjoyed it. And she insisted that we needed to add milk to the batter -even though the recipe didn't call for it. So we added it, anyway. She had fun frosting it, and especially tasting it!
And she does dishes!
