Hi Mimo!

We've been staying close to home the last few days -- we've had workmen here (what else?). As a result, Mary Clare has been able to spend time with one of her favorite people -- "Mimo" from next door. This morning I glanced out the window and saw our neighbor and mentioned to Mary Clare, "I see Mimo outside." Well, that was all it took - she bolted to the backdoor, pushed it open and began screaming, "Hi Mimo!! Hi Mimo!!" Erin was napping, so Mimo graciously offered to take Mary Clare for a little visit -- she kept Mimo company while she met with her electrician - you can see them here in the picture. Mary Clare came home with four chocolate bars in her pockets -- "One for me, one for Mommy, one for DeeDa and one for Chloe [her friend]." Mimo wasn't the only one with electricians working today -- we had ours over, too. We are finally getting electricity in our detached garage - yay! They installed outside and indoor lights, outlets, switches, etc today -- and tomorrow will dig the trench to connect the power.

Mary Clare is also fighting a slight cold (mainly a very runny nose and bad cough). As a result, she took a very short nap today -- she woke up Hungry! "Me hungry Mommy - cheese pizza!" So, here she is whipping up a snack.
Later we took her meal outside for a picnic (it was nearly 70 degrees today!).

Afterwards, Mary Clare took Erin for her inaugeral ride in our red wagon. I didn't get a very good picture of them in motion because Mary Clare was really running with the wagon and I was trying to stay nearby - I wasn't sure how stable Erin was! As you can see, Erin had a ball - and so did her big sister. Mary Clare continues to be the sweetest sister -- she tucked her blanket around Erin to make sure she stayed warm.
