This morning Mary Clare gave me a major guilt trip -- Erin was taking her nap and I was reading the paper and drinking my coffee in the playroom while Mary Clare played with her play kitchen. I started listening to her talking to herself, and this is what she said: "Me Mommy [I am Mommy] busy, busy, busy - no play, busy, cook you dinner." Ouch! I wonder where she's heard that before? So, tonight when I was cooking dinner I thought I'd try to get her involved - and she jumped at the chance! Here she is trying a huge forkful of asparagus -- and you can see how proud she was to help stir the pasta.
I let Erin try some of the softest asparagus and she loved it!
